The story of the evil queen from the Arctic waste lands and her quest to turn children into snowflakes, unfolds against a background of beautiful Scandinavian scenery
The large puppets are costumed with great attention to detail and according to traditional folk designs.
With excitement, humour, beauty and romance 'The Snow Queen' has charmed audiences numbering thousands, throughout the British Isles.
The production features music from classical composers including Mussorgsky, Grieg, Meyerbeer and Wagner
For school performances, a synopsis of the plot and ideas for preparatory and follow-up work are available for teachers.
A short demonstration of puppet making and discussion time is also available after a performance for education establlshments.
